Every EGP belt is built to perform and to last. Our warranty covers manufacturing defects in material and workmanship for the stated period, giving distributors and professionals confidence on every fitment.

Coverage

What the warranty covers

EGP belts are guaranteed against defects in material and workmanship under normal use and correct installation. Cover applies from the date of purchase shown on a valid invoice.

Covered

  • Manufacturing defects in material
  • Defects in workmanship
  • Premature rib or tooth separation under correct use
  • Cord or compound failure not caused by misuse

Not covered

  • Incorrect installation or tensioning
  • Misaligned, worn or seized pulleys & tensioners
  • Contamination by oil, coolant or debris
  • Normal wear, accident or modification
Process

How a claim works

Register the fitment

Keep the invoice and the EGP item number. Registering at installation speeds up any future claim.

Stop use & document

Remove the belt, photograph the failure and the drive components, and note the symptoms and mileage/hours.

Submit the claim

Complete the form below or email your distributor with the part number, invoice and photos.

Assessment & outcome

The belt is reviewed against the warranty terms. Approved claims are resolved by replacement or credit.

Terms

Warranty terms & conditions

  1. This warranty covers EGP automotive belts against defects in material and workmanship for 24 months from the date of purchase, or the period required by applicable local law, whichever is greater.
  2. The warranty applies only to belts installed and operated in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications and good workshop practice, with all related drive components (tensioners, pulleys, idlers) in serviceable condition.
  3. A valid purchase invoice and the original EGP item number are required to process any claim.
  4. The warranty is limited to replacement of the belt or issue of credit for the defective part. It does not extend to labour, consequential loss, towing, downtime, or damage to other components.
  5. Belts that have been altered, cut, contaminated, or fitted to incompatible applications are excluded.
  6. Claim assessment is carried out by EGP / the supplying distributor; returned belts may be retained for technical analysis.
  7. Nothing in this warranty affects the statutory rights of the purchaser under applicable consumer law.
